Journal of Resilient Urbanism & Sustainable Design (JRUSD) is honored to welcome Professor Michael West Mehaffy—Executive Director, Sustasis Foundation; Faculty Associate, Arizona State University; former Director of Education, The Prince’s Foundation—to our Advisory and Honorary Boards. A leading urbanist and design theorist, Professor Mehaffy’s work on human-scaled, resilient, and complexity-informed urbanism will strengthen JRUSD’s mission to advance sustainable cities.

JRUSD also welcomes research on cultural heritage and biocultural landscapes. The journal encourages work that bridges research and practice, especially studies addressing urban and rural challenges related to climate change, socio-cultural transformation, and sustainability.

Publication Policy

  • Published twice a year (biannually)
  • Double-blind peer review
  • No submission or publication fees
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and in clear academic English
